Europe after Brexit

The UGR will hold a debate entitled ‘Europe after Brexit’ on Thursday 13 October, which will kick-off with two interrelated conferences. The first conference will be given by Francisco Balaguer Callejón (Professor of Constitutional Law at the UGR) and will explore the lessons to be learned from Brexit in relation to European Constitutional Law.

The second conference will be given by Carlos Closa Montero (Research Professor in political sciences at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom) and will examine Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty; an article just 250 words long which outlines how an EU member state might go about withdrawing from the Union.
