The UGR Orchestra will perform “El Concierto de Aranjuez” on Sunday 29th November as part of its XXXI International “Andrés Segovia” Classical Guitar Competition. The Concierto de Aranjuez, a composition for classical guitar and orchestra, was created by the acclaimed Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo. Produced in 1939, it is by far Rodrigo's best-known work, and its enormous success established Rodrigo's reputation as one of the most significant Spanish composers of the twentieth century.
