At the University of Granada we encourage everyone to join a University society or club (Spanish: Asociaciones Universitarias), to participate in university life and become an active member of the university community. We feel that it is of the utmost importance for students to be able to turn their visions and project ideas into a reality, whether these projects are academic or cultural in nature, or based on principles of international solidarity. We also wish to provide you with the means of making a positive contribution to the University community, and to society.
With a view to diversifying the range of societies and clubs at the UGR we actively encourage members of the UGR to get involved in existing societies and clubs, and to set up new ones.
If you’re interested in getting involved in university life and meeting lots of like-minded and interesting people along the way, you have two options:
The Student Societies Office strives to provide members of the UGR community with the financial support and management support they need to set up and run student societies effectively.
You only need 3 people to set up a new society and with the support of the Student Societies Office, in approximately 3 weeks it will be a fully registered UGR society.
