Description The Masters in Public Sector Administration and Management at the UGR is designed to enable students to pursue a career in the public sector and successfully manage public institutions. The strategic principles of efficiency, effectiveness and quality feature prominently throughout the course, enabling students to fully comprehend the principles of good governance at a time when most public institutions are undergoing important changes, both structurally and financially.

During the course, students learn to identify, comprehend and critically analyse the transformations and changes applicable to the Spanish Public Administration Services. Emphasis is placed on evaluating the pros and cons connected with these changes, training students how best to optimise financial and human resources, and resolve dysfunctional elements.

The masters offers you the opportunity to become an expert in areas such as strategic planning, civic participation, cooperation between institutions, negotiation skills, media communications, and public sector marketing and advertising.

Moreover, the masters involves rigorous training in the following crucial areas: analysis and evaluation of public sector policies, innovation, online administration.

Additionally, as a student on our course you learn how to draft, analyse and complete financial audits while working in the public sector, produce and analyse performance indicators, manage staff effectively, create collaborative initiatives between the public and private sectors, and assess the quality of public services and their sustainability.
