Description
Our Masters in Chemical Sciences and Technologies (KHEMIA) is a pioneering qualification at the forefront of its field. The course contents and programme structure are geared towards professional development in chemistry, both in its industrial aspects, laboratory-related tasks, and R&D activities. It enables graduates to pursue a career in three areas – the industrial sector, research, and the service sector, with three independent specialization study paths to choose from:

Study Path 1: Production, Testing, and Quality
Study Path 2: Methodology and Instrumentation
Study Path 3: Research and Development

Teaching staff on the course have ample experience in the discipline and are actively involved in a broad range of cutting-edge research projects. Guest lecturers from Spanish and foreign universities also play a key role on the course, giving students the opportunity to encounter diverse and contrasting perspectives from the field.

As a student on the course, you will also have the opportunity to complete a mobility period at a Spanish or international university. Moreover, the Departments involved in running the Masters at the UGR boast state of the art facilities and equipment.

The course prepares you for employment in managerial, technical, production, quality control, and supervisory roles, as well as in R&D activities in experimental and testing laboratories. Upon completion of the Masters, graduates are also eligible to undertake our Doctoral Programme in the discipline.
