Description Our Masters in Advanced Optics and Optometrics is a pioneering, world-class qualification, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in the field. The main objective of the masters is to allow you to broaden your knowledge of the discipline, and enhance your practical skills when it comes to applying this knowledge. The curriculum is fully up to date, employing new technologies and pioneering techniques, facilities, and tools.

The programme consists of 5 main modules:

- Optometry

- Physiological of Optics and Vision

- Management

- Technology and Optics

- Dissertation

Upon completion of our masters you will have acquired the skills and knowledge needed to seek employment in research centres, optometry and ophthalmology clinics, primary health care in public and private health centres, vision therapy, orthokeratology therapy, artificial vision, and optician stores, to mention just a few opportunities. Moreover, given the programme’s research-based orientation, graduates can also choose to pursue further doctoral studies in the disciplines of optics and optometrics and related fields.
