Western Sahara: a conflict with no end in sight

Western Sahara ConflictThe conference series Western Sahara: a conflict with no end in sight will take place on the 18, 19, and 20 of October 2016 at the UGR’s Madrasah Palace. Irene Fernández Molina (University of Exeter) will open the series with a conference entitled Towards a multilevel analysis of the Western Sahara conflict and the effects of its expansion through time, followed by Raquel Ojeda’s conference Reflections on the Western Sahara conflict and Morocco’s interventions in the region.

The series will close with a round table debate entitled Western Sahara, 40 years on, with the participation of Juan Montabes (UGR), Maria Angustias Parejo (UGR), Isaías Barreñada (Complutense University of Madrid) and Victoria Veguilla (Pablo de Olavide University, Seville).
