UGR International Mobility Awards 2016

UGR International Mobility Awards 2016 (Premios a la excelencia en la movilidad internacional de estudiantes)

The University of Granada, through its Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization, is pleased to announce that the call for applications to participate in its International Mobility Awards competition is now open. The goal of this internationalization initiative is to promote and improve the quality of international mobility experiences for University of Granada students and doctoral candidates. These merit-based awards will be granted to members of the University community who can demonstrate that they have taken full advantage of their international study experiences, not only from an academic standpoint, but also from the point of view of personal development.

The evaluation committee will assess each candidate’s paper in terms of motivation, the ability to communicate experiences effectively, achievements showing the added value of the study period abroad, and the submission's potential impact on future beneficiaries of international mobility programmes. A total of 5 awards to the value of 1000 euros each are on offer in the following areas: undergraduate student mobility experiences (2); international internship experiences or training periods (1); master's degree mobility experiences (1); and doctoral mobility experiences (1).

How to participate

Participants must submit a written paper based on their academic and personal experiences during an international mobility period or exchange (minimum 1500 words in length). The paper should also include a description of activities undertaken during the international exchange, as well as its impact on your personal, academic or professional development. You must also submit a CD copy of the paper in Word format. You can also include visual and digital material (photos, webpages etc.) in your submission.
