The Health Sciences Technology Park (PTS or Parque Tecnológico de las Ciencias de la Salud) is one of the UGR’s most noteworthy centres. Its objective is to serve as a centre for knowledge exchange and to support the development of research projects. It also works actively to create new institutes and spin-off companies working in the pharmaceutical, bio-health, healthcare and food industry sectors.

Additionally, it provides UGR Research Institutes and Centres with the support needed for them to grow. It is one of the leading science parks in the world in terms of its contribution to the health-related biotechnology industry, striving to improve health services for regional, national and international communities alike.
